Domrey is not a general hospital with a women’s wing. Mothers and children are the whole of what the clinic does, which means the obstetrics and gynecology department is not competing for theatre time, beds or attention with unrelated specialties.
The practical version of that: an OB-GYN is reachable at any hour, the imaging you need is in the same building, and the pediatrician who will see your baby works down the corridor from the obstetrician who delivers them.
Gynecology consultations
If you have a concern you want a specialist to look at, you can book a consultation directly. No referral is needed, and you do not have to be pregnant. Consultations are private, and the doctor will explain what they find and what the options are before anything is decided.
Common reasons women come in include irregular or painful periods, pain or discomfort, a lump or a change they have noticed, contraception advice, fertility questions, and routine screening with no symptoms at all.
Pregnancy care from the first visit to delivery
The department covers the full course of a pregnancy: confirming it, scheduling antenatal checkups, scanning, planning the birth, delivering the baby, and looking after mother and baby afterwards.
Because Domrey is a maternity and pediatric clinic, the obstetrician who plans your delivery and the pediatrician who checks your newborn are in the same building on the same day. The first newborn check does not need a separate appointment somewhere else.
Imaging on site
Standard and 4D ultrasound are carried out at the clinic rather than referred out, so a scan your doctor asks for during a consultation can usually be done in the same visit.
Women’s health beyond pregnancy
Not everything a woman needs from an OB-GYN is about having a baby. The clinic also provides routine screening and health checkup packages for women who are not pregnant, and vaccination for women including HPV.
